Plastic Pollution Crisis

Bee Free Farm will not contribute to the plastic pollution crisis.

Not only is plastic bad for the environment, its working its way through the food chain. Plastic leaches micro-plastics and hormone disrupting chemicals directly into your food.

All of our packaging is chemical free, micro-plastic free and compostable, even our packing tape! Produce baskets are made from unbleached, undyed wood pulp fiber. Cello bags are made from non-gmo, FSC certified wood cellulose. All raw honey is packaged in glass with the exception of cut comb where there was no eco friendly alternative to plastic, however is re-usable or recyclable. 

To reduce waste, we have a glass bottle deposit/return program. Return any Bee Free Farm or Dutch Meadows Farm glass bottles in good condition and receive a bottle deposit credit.
