How does bee pollen help seasonal allergies?
When pollen enters the body, our immune systems don’t recognize this substance and view it as a threat. The body releases histamines to fight this allergen.
While histamines are effective at fighting infections and other issues, they may also cause swelling, irritation, sneezing, itching, watering and other symptoms we call allergies.
Since bees use the pollen of nearby flowers to make honey, trace amounts of pollen are found in local honey.

Our Nucleus Colony (NUC) bees are installed on drawn comb, a brood nest has been well established, honey and pollen have been stored and most importantly, a young queen has been accepted and is laying eggs.
Our five frame Nucleus Colonies consist of:
- A new mated queen that has already been accepted by the hive and is confirmed to be laying eggs
- 3 frames containing brood in all stages
- 2 frames containing honey, pollen and nurse bees
- Approx. 20,000 bees
